We're All Afraid of Ann

No one does Thanksgiving quite like Laura Bruij Williams' mom, so Laura asked the guys to surprise her mother by recording a special episode in her home while she prepared her holiday meal. Lots of special guests stopped by for what is definitely one of the funniest episodes ever recorded. #BruijWilliamsThanksgiving #SLAPthanksgiving

Readers' Choice Awards

Visit silive.com to cast your vote in the 2014 Staten Island Advance Readers' Choice Awards. Our very own John Szeluga was nominated in the Best Comedian category, and Chris Sorrentino's band, the Wahoo Skiffle Crazies (featuring past SLAP guests Laura Williams and Ezra Donellan) were nominated in the Best Cover Band category. Voting ends on Sunday, November 16th, so cast your votes today.

You'll recognize many past guests from our podcast, including Tim Duffy, Jay Miller, Comic Book Jones, JHU Universe (episode coming soon), the Impractical Jokers (we had Sal Vulcano on), and The Seconds (featuring Joe Pecora and Joey Patches). Last but not least, there's Kevin Devlin, who we've already named World's Greatest Bartender, so of course he should be named Staten Island's Greatest.

There are so many great nominees this year, many of whom we hope to have on future shows, so please cast your votes and support the arts on Staten Island.
